National Butchers' Week

Cook up delicious comforting classics in your kitchen this March whilst supporting your local butcher!

National Butchers' Week runs from Monday 12th - Sunday 18th March 2018! It is a National week that many independent retailers get involved with to remind customers that butchers remain the number one choice for range, quality, service and convenience when it comes to purchasing meat.

Our beef is sourced from select local Berkshire and Hampshire farms, whose standards of welfare match our own. If you would like to know where your beef comes from on a particular week, please ask our butchers. We pride ourselves on full traceability of our meat! 

We also dry-age our beef for a minimum of three weeks (often longer!) improving its flavour, tenderness and eating quality.

Our pork is free-range, roaming freely on the South Downs, behaving as pigs should!

Our free-range chickens are sourced from Packington Poultry, in Staffordshire. We also stock a range of whole and cut poultry from RSPCA and Red Tractor approved farms. Whilst not free-range, these birds enjoy excellent conditions and allow for a more affordable option.
